Ancient Christianity will introduce students to the rich and fascinating beginnings of our Christian faith. Primary focus will be given to the earliest followers of Jesus Christ - what they believed, what they didn't believe, and how they practiced their Christian faith. The course will also discover the unique historical and socio-political context in which the early church developed, grew and spread -- and how these influences continue to shape the Church today.
